Brianna Gentile, LMFT
Brianna Gentile, LMFT is a relational therapist who works with individuals, couples, families and children. Brianna believes that relationships are the cornerstones of our lives and that we can all become stuck when we experience conflicts with those we are connected to. She uses systemic techniques to help guide clients to a better understanding of themselves, so as to gain awareness about the path to increasing healthier relationships with others. Brianna’s warm and collaborative approach allows clients to feel fully guided and supported, while also gaining confidence to step into the role as leader of one’s own life.
Brianna specializes in working with adolescents and families, but also enjoys working with individuals and couples. She has experience with community-based family therapy conducted in family homes, as well partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient for adolescents and their families. She has extensive experience working with acute clients managing issues such as suicidality, self-harm, substance use, and high family conflict. Brianna is passionate about helping parents feel more confident and effective as the leaders of their families and creating space for children’s voices to be heard so as to improve relationships and overall well-being. Brianna’s therapeutic focus is to use trauma-informed psychotherapy to increase self-esteem, decrease anxiety & depression, and tease out couple and family relational issues. It is a joy for Brianna to be in the presence of client’s achieving their goals and feeling more authentic in their relationships!
Brianna earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Philadelphia University and her Master of Science degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University.
